A tramp symbolizes a homeless wanderer who is without a fixed abode and is in no constant employment. He keeps his head above water on his travels with odd jobs or begs now and then. There can be many reasons why one becomes a drifter. On the one hand, tragic incidents can have led to that, like loss of the job and thus also the dwelling or perhaps also excessive consumption of alcohol plays a role. Which can further lead to criminal behavior, because the basic needs are not satisfied. Or one becomes a vagrant for completely different reasons, which have to do with feeling free and wanting to turn one's back on narrow frameworks. To live freely into the day, to flow with the here and now, to live a different reality than the masses, probably make more sense for the vagrant.
In general dream interpretation, when a vagrant is prowling around in a dream, it is often associated with negative things. It could be a WARNING SYMBOL to the sleeping person to stay out of others' affairs that are none of one's business. Even if it is about a connected friend, from the present point of view, one is advised not to interfere, as it is more likely to cause harm than to make amends.
If one sees oneself as a tramp in a dream, this announces to the dreamer a financially dry phase or even poverty conditions that may set in. Also, symbolically, the image of the tramp in a dream serves as a contagious disease that may spread in the near future.
If the dreamer encounters a drifter in his sleep and gives him some food or clothing or gives him other support, this augurs generosity. One will be rewarded in the real world for one's good nature, or a windfall will soon fly into the dreamer's house.
Psychology usually interprets a dream with a tramp as a bad omen. Usually the symbol of the tramp is interpreted as life-threatening for the dreamer. It seems that personal dealings with certain people may have a negative influence on the person concerned, or irresponsible and indifferent attitudes towards life may throw him off track. The dreamer should check with which people he has contact and whether this is in accordance with his highest good. It is also advisable to look at whether one's life organization is helpful to one or whether some changes are not needed.
On the other hand, the tramp has a similar gypsy-like interpretation. It stands for complete freedom and for living without taboos and tightly knit concepts. When the tramp appears in this context, it can be assumed that the dreamer suffers from society's pressure to perform and values and wants nothing more than to break out of these restricted beliefs.
If the tramp receives money from the dreamer in the dream, this should stimulate reflection on whether he is not investing his money in a flop on a business level. In any case, it serves as a warning to be mindful with financial investments, where and when to invest your money.
For the spiritual dream interpretation, the tramp stands for total TABUBRUCH and the dissolution of traditional ideas.
